Brewing instructions
We use a 15.5:1 ratio of water to coffee.
Set your water temperature between 210-212 degrees.
Grind the coffee to a medium/fine consistency. For reference, we use a Fellow Ode grinder set to 4.1 (1 click past 4).
Add 13g of ground coffee into the chamber (14g goes into the grinder).
Next, add 200g of water within 5-7 seconds.
Place the plunger on and lift it slightly to create a vacuum.
Let it brew for 1:30. During this time, swirl the entire Aeropress three times (hold one hand on the chamber and the other on the vessel you're brewing into).
After 2:00, plunge until you hear a hissing sound.
This should yield approximately 6 oz of coffee. Enjoy!
If the coffee tastes sour or salty, adjust the grind to be finer. If it's astringent or overly bitter, make the grind coarser.
